The Great EnviRondure

This activity aims to build the largest sculpture made of recycled plastic bags. We

hope to raise awareness about the recycling of plastic bags. Despite it being the

most common litter found in our neighbourhood, it remains one of the least

recycled product. As such, we hope to instill a sense of responsibility to recycle

plastic bags in members of the public. We will be collecting the plastic bags from

students of the participating schools, and the top three schools will

be acknowledged with the Guinness World Record Certificate. Actual construction

of sculpture will be done on 21st April 2012 at Ci Yuan Green Park. The funds collected from the recycling of our sculpture will then be donated fully to the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) for a greater cause, which is to help patients who require funding for their dialysis.
